Handcarved in natural polished Rosewood. A classic design that could have been made at anytime in the history of the Welsh Lovespoon. If this had been made in the 1600’s, the young Welshman would have been promising to provide a home (keys,keyhole), love (heart), to work for her (wheel), 2 souls together (commas), marriage (bell), 2 living as one (double bowl) and a full & bountiful life (heartshaped bowl). Receiving this she would have known that he was definitely interested! This design could now be given to family and friends as well as the original idea between couples. (An idea for a golden wedding?).
