Handcarved, polished limewood, stained or natural.
Meaning: Link - Linking of Lives. Commas - 2 Souls together. Hearts - Love. Heartshaped bowl - Full & bountiful life.
The loose link moves and is carved from the one piece of wood, without any join (the link has never been apart from the lovespoon). This is a traditional feature of the Welsh lovespoon - they should always be carved from the single piece of wood.
This is a beautiful design for a couple.
